Review by hotel critic
Nestled in the heart of Zurich's charming old town, Altstadt Hotel offers an immersive experience that combines comfort and a touch of artistry. The quirky decor, adorned with portraits of poets, adds a delightful layer of character to the clean and cozy rooms, perfectly suited for our family of four. With a fantastic breakfast spread featuring fresh pastries and local cheeses, we fueled up for a day of exploring the nearby Grossmünster and the scenic Limmat River. What truly set our stay apart was the warm, welcoming staff who effortlessly arranged an extra bed for my son, making us feel right at home. Plus, the Altstadt Bar served some of the best coffee I've had, alongside a delightful atmosphere of smooth jazz that wrapped up our long days of adventuring beautifully. Highly recommend for anyone looking to delve into Zurich's history while enjoying modern comforts!
